Almost Die Hard
Here I am. My first real post. Both because you beautiful ladies have requested it and because I actually have something to blog about.

Just a few hours ago Raymond, Josh (snowy carwash man) and I went to watch Die Hard 4.0 (Beta version), after which Josh suggested/demanded to go to Williams mamak for makan, which we did. Die Hard is a fairly decent movie btw; an adrenaline pumping flick with lots of action and things going boom. Maggie Q looked hot, especially at her very end.

Anyways, when I arrived (Raymond with me) at the mamak, I managed to get a pretty good parking spot right in front of the place, although a bit tight. But lo and behold, two people got into the car in front of me and started reversing to give me space. As I looked up to thank them, they started pointing at me profusely. So I'm thinking to myself, "Yes, thank you for the spot, no need to be martyrs about it", when suddenly they switch on their headlights and I notice smoke oozing out from underneath my bonnet. Immediately I look at the temperature meter which read a nominal 90 degrees. Okay, weird..

At this point, the mamak patrons are already staring at my car as my embarrassment level starts to rise. The car that gave way to us pulls up beside us with the lady in the passenger side sticking her head out. As Raymond politely winds down the window, she mentions so matter-of-factly, " Your car on fire ahh". I start laughing internally thinking, 'Woman, that's smoke, not fire', to which I opened my door and saw flickers of flame under my car. At that time of the night, in a dark place, I actually saw a yellowish glow coming from under my car. Not Good.

Raymond, seeing the same thing as he opened his door, immediately asked me to switch off the aircond and then turn off the car. I obeyed. Later on I wondered, why the aircond first? Why bother? Do airconditioning systems cause fire? Wouldn't I want a cool breeze in the event of a fire? I'm supposed to be the engineer here. Why I listened to him I don't know. Panic I guess. Earlier in the evening he caused us to get lost on the way to the movies... I'm a slow learner.

Moving on, after completing that tedious process I popped the hood. But being afraid of doing anything more and having the car suddenly blow up in my face I scurried towards the mamak where Raymond already was. Brave. As I checked the underneath of the car (from afar) the flame had already gone off. A few kind (kpc) patrons however came up to us and said that they did see fire and some kinda liquid leaking from the engine. Finally realised that it was the liquid on the floor that was on fire and not the engine itself. Still freaky though. Even got a pail of water from Williams in case anything else untoward happened.

Josh came in halfway as we were examining the car but was more concerned about getting a table than an exploding car. "Ehh, why you all standing there?" "My car was on fire" "Oh.. eh got no more place on the roadside lar". Typical. Called AAM and my parents came later on. The car is gonna be towed at 6.30 this morning of which my father is going to have to be there. I kindly offered my services and sacrifice going to work today. My dad kindly refused.

Oh well, 7am wakeup. I've now only got less than 4 hours rest to last me the whole day. "So do I" some of you say? Well, I'm not used to it!! I need to grow! Vertically please God.. Oh btw, work is ok. Will blog about it once I've actually done something.

I have given up all desire of wanting to be with you.

Not because Gracie is in the picture, for that is no challenge at all (hehe..), but because of this:

Being together would mean sharing stuff.

At the looks of it, it would mean stuff such as clothes. And along with that comes a risk of having you look better in them.

Zie doesn't know that this blog really exists and I'm guessing it will only be a matter of time before he finds out (no thanks to my publicising it on MSN). But before he ever claims ownership of this blog, I've currently got this mission of looking for pictures of Zie which are, hmm, not very flattering to say the least. This barely made the mark, but I assure you the worst is yet to come! Oh he is so going to kill me!
